CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:
Plasma physics is a rapidly emerging area with an extensive fundamental research and applications, providing a unique opportunity among the researchers to discuss the progress and infiltrate the expertise for the global development. In the fast-changing today’s world, the progress of technology strongly contributes to the economic growth. In the recent years, a strong networking is being established with noted credentials, among researchers from very diverse fields including biology, chemistry, medicine etc. These areas share many common traits and narrowing channel reflects the inter-disciplinary nature. Understanding an advancing physics has been always an exciting intellectual challenge to mankind. One of the major objectives of this conference series is to highlight the inter-connectivity aspects. Special attention is focused on understanding the advancing complex-fundamental issues, technologies and further, explores the flourishing interdisciplinary fields. The conference series is being planned in different developing countries to encourage a large number of local researchers to participate in the conference. Researchers of all the nationalities are welcome to participate. The earlier two conferences were held in India (Bangalore 2002) and (Goa 2005) .

CONFERENCE WILL FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:
  • CATEGORY-I, Basic plasma: Fundamental plasma theory and simulations, Dusty and strongly coupled plasmas, Advances in plasma diagnostics, Atomic, molecular and cluster interactions, Astrophysical, cosmic and space plasmas, Condensed matter physics etc.

  • CATEGORY-II, Hot plasmas: Laser plasma interaction, Plasma heating and transport, Magnetically confined plasmas, Inertial fusion plasmas, Fast ignition, Laboratory Astrophysical plasmas etc..

  • CATEGORY-III, New emerging Applications and Technologies: Advances in plasma tools, Lasers, Novel radiation sources, Particle / photon acceleration, Nanotechnologies, Industrial plasma applications, Art restoration, cultural heritage, Environmental, Biology, Health, Waste disposal etc.

  • CONFERENCE SPONSORED BY:

    CONFERENCE VENUE : Bangkok, Thailand

    ABOUT THAILAND:
Thailand has been known ever since the dawn of civilization in Asia. Archaeological excavations have unearthed many pre-historic sites. The spectacular findings at Ban Chiang include bronze utensils, ornaments, painted pottery, bimetallic weapons etc. show the settlement dates back to 6,000 years. By the Thai calendar, the Christian era 2000 is equal to 2543.

Before 1350 the country was divided into a number of separate principalities. In 1350, a branch of Thai race under Somdetch Pra Rama Tibaudi I (1351-71) established a dominant power at Ayuthaya as the capital (1351-1767) which was rich in cultures, traditions, religions and well-flourished in trade and agricultures. With the fall of the Burmese rule (1767-82), Bangkok was founded as the capital in 1782 by King Rama I (named Phra Buddha Yodfa Chulaloke). The word, Bangkok is derived from the two primitive Thai words, i.e. "Bang" means Village and "Kok" means Olive, thus its original meaning is "Village of Olive. It is situated on the Great Chao Phya River Delta which flows from the North down to the Gulf of Thailand.

Earlier the land was known as Siam (the land of white elephants) to the outsiders, first addressed by Portuguese in 1511. After a peaceful coup in 1932, Siam's powerful monarchy became constitutional and in 1939 the kingdom officially adopted the name Thailand, which means "The Land of The Free".

Thais are gifted gold and silversmiths, possessing great taste for art and known as skilled painters, decorators and carvers in wood, stone, plaster, and mosaic. They are described as a polite, hospitable, light-hearted, pleasure and feast-loving people. Abundant natural attractions including marines, mountains, sparkling beaches, ancient ruins and year-around colourful festivals make an ever lasting impact on every visitor.
