Deadlines Extended !!

The 8th Asia Pacific Plasma Theory Conference (APPTC) will be hosted by Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) from 11-13 December 2007. The conference will be just following the annual meeting of the Plasma Science Society of India (PSSI) to be held between Dec 6-10 and the Asia Plasma and Fusion Association conference (APFA2007) just before that between Dec 3-5, all three conferences being hosted by IPR this year.

The APPTC will cover a broad range of topics in plasma and fusion sciences, with particular focus on the latest trends in research and development activities in these areas in the Asia-Pacific region. It would cover the following topics :

• Space and astrophysical plasmas

• Magnetic and inertial confinement fusion plasmas

• Laser plasma interactions

• Beam and accelerator physics

• Low temperature, dusty and nano-plasmas

• Various plasma based devices

• Turbulence in plasmas and transport processes

• non-linear phenomena

The working language of the conference is English.
