1. The topic of the essay will be “Science, Technology and innovation for sustainable development
2. Open ONLY to students from classes VIII, IX, X and XI.
3. The essay writing competition will be conducted separately in 3 languages, viz., English, Hindi and Gujarati.
The length of essay must not be more than 500 words and has to be handwritten.
4. ONLY one entry per school per language will be accepted (i.e. maximum 3 essays per school).
5. The essay can be sent to IPR by E-mail (scienceday@ipr.res.in) or post to the address given below. The essay should reach
the NSD Committee on or before 19th December 2016. Subject line of email must be “NSD2017- Essay (language) (school name in short)” or if sending by post then “NSD2017 –essay competition” must be written over the envelope.
6. This competition is offline competition and no TA or accommodation shall be provided by IPR to participants. The name of selected candidates/Winners will be declared by 2nd January 2017 on website.

નિબંધ લેખન સ્પર્ધા
- નિબંધ લેખન સ્પર્ધા માટેનો વિષય " સ્થાયી વિકાસ માટે વિજ્ઞાન, તકનીક અને નવીનતા\નવપરિવર્તન" રાખવામાં આવેલ છે.
- નિબંધ લેખન સ્પર્ધામાં માત્ર ધોરણ ૮, ૯, ૧૦ અને ૧૧ ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ભાગ લઇ શકે છે.
- નિબંધ સ્પર્ધામાં ભાગ લેવા, IPR NSD સમિતિને નિબંધ પહોંચાડવાની અંતિમ તારીખ ૧૯-ડિસેમ્બર-૨૦૧૬છે.
- નિબંધ લેખન સ્પર્ધા માટે નિબંધ, ૩ ભાષાઓ હિન્દી, અંગ્રેજી કે ગુજરાતીમાંથી કોઈ પણ ભાષામા મોકલી શકાશે. સ્પર્ધા ત્રણેય ભાષામા અલગ અલગ રહેશે.
- દરેક શાળામાંથી ભાષા દીઠ માત્ર એક વિદ્યાર્થી ભાગ લઇ શકે છે (એટલે કે મહત્તમ ત્રણ નિબંધ).
- નિબંધ હસ્તલિખિત હોવો જોઈએ અને નિબંધ ની લંબાઈ ૫૦૦ શબ્દોથી વધુ ના હોવી જોઈએ .
- નિબંધ ઇમેઇલ દ્વારા “scienceday@ipr.res.in ” પર મોકલવાના રહેશે અથવા ટપાલદ્વારા અહીં COORDINATOR, NSD સમિતિને આપેલ સરનામાં પર મોકલી શકાશે. ઇમેઇલથી નિબંધ મોકલતી વખતે વિષય “NSD૨૦૧૭- Essay (language) (school name in short)” રાખવો. languageની જગ્યાએ જે ભાષામાં નિબંધ હોય એનું નામ અને school name in shortની જગ્યાએ શાળાનું નામ લખવું. ટપાલ દ્વારા નિબંધ મોકલતી વખતે કવર પર “NSD૨૦૧૭ –essay competition” લખવું જરૂરી છે.
- આ સ્પર્ધા ઑફલાઇન સ્પર્ધા છે આથી ભાગ લેનાર કોઈપણ પ્રતિસ્પર્ધીઓને કોઈ ભથ્થું કે બીજા કોઈ પણ પ્રકારની સવલત આપવા માટે IPR બાધ્ય નથી. વિજેતાઓના નામ ૨-જાન્યુઆરી-૨૦૧૭ ના રોજ http://www.ipr.res.in/documents/nsd.html વેબ સાઈટ પર જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે.
