| PUBLICATIONS: All research papers presented during the conference will be published on CD-ROM. Manuscripts should be prepared in the format of Laser and Particle Beams (LPB) which is available on http://assets.cambridge.org/LPB/LPB_ifc.pdf . Kindly submit a CD containing the manuscript at the conference desk along with two hard copies. Further, some of the selected papers containing the latest results and relevant to the readers of "Laser and particle beams" may be considered for publication in LPB in consultation with the editor during the conference. Page limit for invited paper is 12 pages. For poster and oral presentation limit is 10 pages. We solicit new results. |
| POSTER SESSION: Poster session will be held at the conference venue. A board measuring 1x1 meter, labeled with the abstract number will be available for each posters. Authors are requested to display the poster on the designated board on the specified day. |
| FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Conference funds are limited. However, partial travel grants and living expenses to a few deserving young participants from developing countries may be provided. Successful applicants will be informed individually before the due date. |
| CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE: Conference is self-financed. Delegates are requested to make their own financial arrangements. Conference registration fee is Euro 380 and Euro 200 for researchers from Nepal. Conference registration fee includes book of abstracts, conference material, welcome party, free entry to all the scientific sessions, banquet, excursion and cultural programme. |
| LIVING EXPENSES AT THE CONFERENCE SITE: Spring time in Himalaya is the most attractive tourist season and accommodation requirement has to be confirmed well in advance. An economical and decent package is being negotiated with a 4-star property having all the modern amenities. Cost is Euro 530 for single occupancy room. This price includes accommodation from 5-10 April 2009 (6 nights), breakfast, daily International buffet lunch and dinner (other than welcome party and banquet) at the conference site. Participants are free to make living arrangements of their choice if they opt to stay outside the conference venue and are requested to inform the conference secretary accordingly. |
| ACCOMPANYING MEMBERS: Euro 250 for an accompanying person includes accommodation, breakfast, buffet lunch, dinner, welcome party, banquet, conference excursion and cultural programme. Special sight seeing programme for the accompanying persons will be available at the conference site by the authorized travel agents on payment. |
| BANK DETAILS: Please remit the conference registration fee 380 euro (living expenses and accompanying member charges as the case may be) to the following conference account on or before 20th Nov. 2008. Kindly pay your bank transfer charges. Our bank in Milano, Italy, doesn’t charge for all the transactions originating from the countries where Euro is the official currency, otherwise Euro 13 is charged for each transaction from other countries. Kindly include our bank charges (wherever applicable) while remitting the amount. |
| CANCELLATION CHARGES: Due to unavoidable circumstances if you have to cancel your participation before 25th Mar. 2009, full amount (reg. + living) will be refunded. However, bank transfer charges will be deducted from the refunding amount. Cancellation after the date will cost 50 Euro and bank transfer charges. |
| VISA TO NEPAL: Visa is required by many foreign nationals to visit Nepal and it can be obtained from Nepalese Embassy/Consulate offices abroad or "on arrival" in Nepal. Delegates are advised to take tourist visa. Visa information is available on: http://www.welcomenepal.com. Kindly contact the conference secretary if hard copy of the invitation letter is required for the official or visa purpose. |
