The Design and fabrication of vacuum system of SST-1.
This includes
1. The vacuum vessel.
2. The cryostat.
3. The pumping system.
4. The Gas feed system.
Current Activities
The current activity includes
The assembly of the complete vacuum system.
A number of facilities have been established by the group.
1. Facilities to test vacuum compatibility of SST-1 sub-systems and components.
2. Facility to do outgassing measurements of materials.
3. Facility to caliberate pressure gauges with spining rotor gauge.
