| About talkinfo email daemon |
| TalkInfo is an automated email daemon running on a server in IPR maintaining collquium distribution list. "talkinfo" handles all the incoming mails to the account automatically. By subscribing, you will receive announcements of the abstracts of colloquia by email usually a week before the scheduled date of a colloquium. You'll also receive monthly lists and on-the-day reminder of the talks. Occasionally some of the seminars held at IPR will also be announced by talkinfo. |

You can subscribe
to the talkinfo list by using any
of the following words in the Subject field: sub, subscribe,
add, join, hi. You can also optionally add your name at the
end of these phrases (give a space before your name). To delete your email from the distribution list of talkinfo, send a mail to talkinfo@ipr.res.in with any of the following words in the subject: un, unsub, unsubscribe, remove, del, delete, bye, goodbye, seeyou. To send a comment or a reply to any of the messages from talkinfo, make the first word of your subject look like "Re:", or in the subject field write "comment". This is the only way to reach a human through "talkinfo" account. |
