In Aditya Tokamak electron temperature is measured by t he absorber foil technique. Recently changes are incorporated in the diagnostics to improve its sensitivity at higher temperatures. In the present setup the pair of Be-foils chosen are 25 ? m and 75 ? m. Plasma temperature measured, in the recent plasma discharges, range from 300eV to 450eV depending upon various experimental conditions. The measured sawteeth inversion radius lies between 5cm and 6 cm and is in good agreement with that predicted by modeling.
