Your guide to the IPR Library


Library opening hours:

Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm


Library Membership:

Membership is provided to all SSP Students during their SSP tenure.

Procedure:

  • The students have to fill up a membership form which is given to them during Library Orientation. It has basic details about the student such as name, contact number and e-mail ID etc.

  • Photograph of the student is clicked at the Library counter for membership purpose.

  • The form is signed by SSP coordinator and submitted to the library.

  • A library card is issued to the SSP students. It is mandatory to bring the card while visiting the library/ issuing/ returning the documents.


Circulation:

  • Circulation timings: Monday to Friday, 9.15 am to 5.15 pm

  • Entitlement and periodicity: SSP students are entitled to get 2 books for a time period of 15 days.

  • A Book can be re-issued twice, provided there is no hold on it.

  • Periodic reminders are sent to the students through e-mail from the Library to return/ re-issue books.


How to search books available in the Library!

You may go to the catalogue and search if the book needed by you is available in the collection.

Finishing the SSP tenure

You need to return your Library card back to the Library in order to obtain a ‘no dues’ while leaving IPR.


General Library Guidelines:


•        Always carry your Library Card when visiting the Library

•        Keep your belongings at the personal belongings counter

•        Submit documents at the library counter while entering and leaving the Library

•        Eatables/water/drinks are not allowed in the Library

•        Do not mark in the library documents/books with pen/pencil

•        Return/re-issue the books on time

•        Reference books are not issued

•        Do not re-shelve the books; keep them on the tables/trolleys

•        Maintain Silence in the Library and avoid loud group discussions/ chats

•        Keep your mobile/laptop in silent/low volume mode

•        Do not remove LAN cables

•        Do not touch the Digital Display Board outside Library
