The Civil Infrastructure Projects Section (CIPS) caters services towards development of new Infrastructure in the campus required to fulfill Institute’s research mandated activities. CIPS responsibilities include the planning, execution & delivery of civil infrastructure in its campuses, at IPR Bhat, & at Facilitation Centre for Industrial Plasma Technologies (FCIPT). The CIPS undertakes the construction of new civil works as well as upgradation / enhancement of existing building(s)s and development of supporting infrastructure to meet the to meet statutory norms of functional requirements of the building(s) and allied structures. CIPS manage the complete project lifecycle, covering technical scrutiny, engineering design through consultant(s), statutory approvals, Tender process, construction supervision, quality assurance and timely project completion, followed by the handover of facilities to Administration / User. In addition, CIPS provides technical support to the CPP-IPR infrastructure, assists the IPR Administration in processing NOCs, Surveys, and Green Audit, and oversees O&M of specific installations. Through efficient project management and sound engineering practices, CIPS ensure to develop sustainable, high-quality infrastructure in compliance with the statutory requirements for the Institute.
