Application for Travel Assistance is now closed

PSSI offers limited travel assistance to its member Students and Junior Faculty (below 35 years) to attend the conference and present his/her work accepted for presentation by the Scientific Programme Committee.

The eligibility conditions for travel assistance from PSSI :

1.    Applicant has to be (if not, will have to become) a LIFE Member of PSSI.

2.    If not a PSSI member, please fill up the attached membership form and bring two passport size photographs.

3.    Reimbursement up to maximum of A/C 3T by shortest route will be provided.

4.    Valid ticket should be produced for road/rail travel.  

5.    Taxi / autorickshaw fares will not be reimbursed.

6.    Tatkal tickets will be paid only normal fare

7.    Since funds are limited, TA will be given on a first-come basis. The time stamp on the online TA form will be taken as a reference. 

8.      Only Student / Research Scholar / PDF / Junior Faculty, below 35 years as on 1-1-2014 will be eligible for Travel Assistance. 

9.    Applicant will have to submit the following documents at the time of conference (preferably on 8th December itself)

(a) Original ticket + copy of return ticket

(b) Copy of ID proof (showing date of birth)

(c) Copy of PSSI ID card (if you have received it)

(d) Letter from the applicant's H.O.D stating that they are not being paid TA from their affiliated institution.

7. Any decision taken by PSSI regarding travel assistance will be final and binding.   

Please submit ALL the documents to the PSSI representative at the conference. Applications with any of the above documents missing will not be considered for Travel Assistance. 

Applying for travel assistance does not by itself entitle the applicant to travel assistance.

Funding for travel assistance is LIMITED and the decision of PSSI regarding award or rejection of travel assistance to applicants will be final and binding.
