Mr. Anand Kumar is a core technical member of the Outreach Division at the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), specializing in the engineering and development of interactive scientific exhibits.

Academic Foundation
Hailing from East Champaran, Bihar, Mr. Anand completed his foundational education at Scholars India Senior Secondary School, Muzaffarpur. Pursuing his interest in electrical systems, he earned his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Government Polytechnic College, Patna in 2021.

Technical Contributions at IPR
Since joining the Outreach Division in August 2023, Mr. Anand has been instrumental in the hardware development of the division's extensive exhibit collection. His work focuses on:

High-Voltage Systems: Design and development of high-voltage, high-frequency power supplies that power several of the division’s most popular plasma demonstrations.

IoT Integration: Development of IoT-based probe exhibits, bringing modern connectivity and digital data acquisition to traditional plasma demonstrations.

Electronic Design: Expert in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, ensuring the reliability and safety of the custom-built electronics used in the Outreach Hall.

Research & Development Interests
Beyond his day-to-day operational support for academic visits, Mr. Anand is deeply involved in the creation of new "edutaining" exhibits. He works to blend complex plasma physics with engaging, hands-on hardware to inspire curiosity among visiting students. His technical interests remain focused on power electronics, innovative exhibit design, and the miniaturization of plasma-based educational tools.
