IPR Academic Visits - April 2026

As a part of Outreach Activities of IPR, local schools and colleges as well as other outstation educational institutions are invited to visit IPR, FCIPT and its R&D facilities.

A group of 22 students and 4 faculty members from the Department of Physics, Silver Oak University, visited IPR to gain insights into fusion research and plasma applications.

Technical Talk: Mr. Manu Bajpai delivered an introductory lecture on Plasma Physics, Tokamak engineering, and the societal benefits of plasma technology.

Live Demonstrations: The visitors interacted with plasma-based exhibits demonstrated by Ms. Pratibha, Mr. Manu, Mr. Gattu Ramesh, and Mr. Rahul.

Facility Tour: The program concluded with a guided visit to the SST-1 Tokamak, led by Mr. Anand, where students observed the experimental setup firsthand.

Documentation: Photography for the event was coordinated by Mr. Narendra.

As a token of the visit, the participants were provided with IPR logo caps and 2026 IPR calendars.
