IPR Academic Visits - January 2026

As a part of Outreach Activities of IPR, local schools and colleges as well as other outstation educational institutions are invited to visit IPR, FCIPT and its R&D facilities.

Nirma University, Ahmedabad (Electrical Sem.4., Dn.A)

82 students of semister-4, Dn.A. with 2 faculty members of Nirma University, Ahmedabad visited IPR on 20th January 2026. At IPR, these students and faculty were introduced to Basics of Plasma, Fusion, Tokamak and Other applications of Plasma by Mr. Gattu Rameshbabu. Later, plasma based exibits at Outreach Hall were demonstrated by Outreach division members to the visitors. Visitors were explained and demonstrated by the staff at Remote Handling and Robotics Division at Robotics lab. Finally the visitors were briefed about SST1 tokamak by Mr. Gattu Ramesh in the tokamak hall.

66 students with 3 faculty members of semister 4, Electrical Engineering, L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad visited IPR on 30th January 2026 Forenoon. At IPR, these students and faculty were introduced to Basics of Plasma, Fusion, Tokamak and Other applications of Plasma by Ms. Pratibha Gupta. Later, plasma based exibits at Outreach Hall were demonstrated by Outreach division members to the visitors. Visitors were explained and demonstrated by the staff at Remote Handling and Robotics Division at Robotics lab. Finally the visitors were briefed about SST1 tokamak in the tokamak hall.

43 students with 2 faculty members of semister 4 & 6 of B.Sc. Physics, Gujarat Arts & Science College, Ahmedabad visited IPR on 30th January 2026 Afternoon. At IPR, these students and faculty were introduced to Basics of Plasma, Fusion, Tokamak and Other applications of Plasma. Later, plasma based exibits at Outreach Hall were demonstrated by Outreach division members to the visitors. Finally the visitors were briefed about SST1 tokamak in the tokamak hall.
