Ion Thruster Engine

An ion thruster is a type of electric propulsion system used for spacecraft propulsion. It creates thrust by extracting and then accelerating positive ions using an electric discharge.

The expelled ions from the device in the device will impart a momentum to the paper shred placed beyond the electrodes of the thruster. The "ion wind" produced can also extinguish a candle flame placed in its path.
