Plasma Pyrolysis

This exhibit displays the model of a waste management system using plasma pyrolysis, which is a process that occurs under oxygen starved conditions. This technique of waste disposal is better than conventional methods of incineration with minimal emission of carcinogens like furans and dioxins. Various types of waste can be safely disposed by this method, especially medical waste. This was developed and commercialized by IPR
