Quiz Competition-NSD2023

(a)
| General Information
|
1.
| All participating schools should nominate student(s) for this competition by entering the details of participants in the Google form ONLY before the deadline of 17:00 of 6-Jan-2023.
|
2.
| The link is given with the Invitation letter or on this website under "Registration Form" section.
|
3.
| Students studying in 8th, 9th and 10th standards ONLY are eligible for this competition.
|
4.
| Each school can nominate only one team of maximum 2 students from different classes.
|
5.
| This NSD2023, the competition shall be conducted in two levels i.e., a) Selection Round and b) Final Round.
|
6.
| All the participants in the selection round will be given participation e-certificates.
|
7.
| First, Second and Third prizes will be awarded in the final round competition.
|
8.
| Winning participants will also be presented winner e-certificates.
|
9.
| The participants selected for final round has to submit their bank account details for on-line bank transfer of transport allowance and winners for their prize money.
|
10.
| Kindly refer to the concerned webpages for more details regarding to (a) Transport Allowance (b) Accommodation to outstation candidates and (c) Food.
|
11.
| In case of any issue related to the quiz questions, the decision of the NSD2023 committee will be final and binding.
|

b)
| Selection Round
|
1.
| The questions are of multiple choice type from various topics up to 10th standard.
|
2.
| The questions will be in English and Gujarati.
|
3.
| All the participants for this selection round will be sent an email regarding Selection round on 12th January 2023/13th January 2023. The same shall be available on NSD2023 website also.
|
3.
| Selection rounds will be conducted online through Google Meet ONLY between 16th Jan 2023 to 20th Jan 2023. Duration will be about 90 minutes.
|
3.
| The participant shall participate from a single location with registered Gmail ID only on Chrome/Firefox/Edge/Opera browser.
|
4.
| Please use ONLY Gmail ID.
|
5.
| The participants should ensure that their internet connection / camera/mic etc. are ready at least 15minutes prior to this online Quiz.
|
6.
| Top 10 teams are selected from this selection rounds for the Final Quiz.
|
b)
| Final Round
|
1.
| Top 10 teams shortlisted for the Final Round will appear in person for the competition at IPR on 4th Feb, 2023 (reporting time : 09:00).
|
2.
| The questions will be both in English and Gujarati during the final round also.
|
