Eloquence Competition-NSD2024

(a)
| General Information
|
1.
| All participating schools should nominate student(s) for this NSD2024 competition by entering the details of participants in the Google form ONLY before the deadline of 17:00 of 09-Jan-2024.
|
2.
| The link is given with the Invitation letter or on this website under "Registration Form" category.
|
3.
| Students studying in 8th to 12th standards are eligible for this competition.
|
4.
| Each school can nominate only one different participant for each language (English, Hindi and Gujarati).
|
5.
| This NSD2024, the competition shall be conducted in two levels i.e., (a) Selection Round and (b) Final Round.
|
6.
| All the participants in the selection round will be given participation e-certificates.
|
7.
| First, Second and Third prizes will be awarded in final round for all the three languages.
|
8.
| Winning participants will also be presented winner e-certificates.
|
9.
| Points will be credited to the participants based on 1) expressiveness 2) clarity of thought 3) time-management etc.,
|
10.
| In case of any issue related to this competition, the decision of the NSD2024 committee will be final and binding.
|

b)
| Selection Round
|
1.
| The topic for the selection round will be :
“Science & Technology for Sustainable Development”
"सतत और दीर्घकालीन विकास के लिए विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी"
"સતત અને લાંબાગાળાના વિકાસ માટે વિજ્ઞાન અને ટેકનોલોજી”

2.
| All the participants for this selection round will be sent an email regarding Selection round on 12th January 2024/13th January 2024. The same shall be available on NSD2024 website also.
|
3.
| Selection rounds will be conducted online through Google Meet ONLY between 16th Jan 2024 to 20th Jan 2024.
|

| The participant will get THREE minutes to speak on the topic.
|

| The participant shall participate from a single location with his/her Gmail ID only on Chrome/Firefox/Edge/Opera browser.
|

| Please use ONLY Gmail ID.
|
7
| The participants should ensure that their internet connection / camera/mic etc. are ready at least 15minutes prior to the event.
|
8
| Top 6 participants from each language from this selection round will be shortlisted for the Final Round.

c)
| Final Round
|
1.
| ALL participants shortlisted for the Final Round will appear in person for the competition at IPR on 10th Feb, 2024 (reporting time : 09:00).
|
2.
| The title for the final round will be provided to the selected candidates on or before 09th Feb 2024 17:00 hrs.
|
3.
| The participant will get THREE minutes to speak on the topic.
|
