Student's Model Competition-NSD2024
a)
General Information
1.
All participating schools should nominate student(s) for this Student's Model competition by entering the details of participants in the Google form ONLY before the deadline of 17:00 09-Jan-2024.
2.
The link is given with the Invitation letter or on this website under "Registration Form" category.
3.
Students studying in 8th to 12th standards are eligible for this competition.
4.
Each school can nominate TWO science models with maximum two student participants per model.
5.
This NSD2024, the competition shall be conducted in two levels i.e.,
a) Selection Round and b) Final Round.
6.
All the participants in the selection round will be given participation e-certificates.
7.
First, Second and Third prizes will be awarded in final round.
8.
Winning participants will also be presented winner e-certificates.
9.
In case of any issue related to this competition, the decision of the NSD2024 committee will be final and binding.
10.
Students should bring their models on Friday  9th February 2024 afternoon onwards and keep at IPR.

b)
Selection Round
1.
The concept of the science model should as far as possible an original idea.
Special appreciation will be given if the exhibit falls under the NSD2024 theme,
“Science & Technology for Sustainable Development”

"સતત અને લાંબાગાળાના વિકાસ માટે વિજ્ઞાન અને ટેકનોલોજી”
2.
The school will upload a write-up of the student's model in PDF format only in the Google Form.
3.
All the write-ups recieved by us on or before 17:00 hrs 9-Jan-2024 only will be evaluated.
4.
Shortlisted students' models for the Final round will be intimated on 20-Jan-2024 through email. The same will be available on NSD2024 website also.


c)
Final Round
1.
Shortlisted students' models for the Final Round should be exhibitted on BOTH 10th and 11th February, 2024 at IPR.
2.
The participants are permitted to display their school and model related banners behind their exhibit.
3.
A table and 2 chairs will be provided in the allotted exhibition area.
4.
Only students are allowed to present their models. Teachers should not help in the presentation. They can however be present and help in prior preparation and background works.
