	Essay Competition-NSD2024
a)	General Information
1.	All participating schools should nominate student(s) for this NSD2024 competition by entering the details of participants in the Google form ONLY before the deadline of 17:00 of 09-Jan-2024.
2.	The link is given with the Invitation letter or on this website under "Registration Form" category.
3.	Students studying in 8th to 12th standards are eligible for this competition.
4.	Each school can nominate only one different participant for each language (English, Hindi and Gujarati).
5.	This NSD2024, the competition shall be conducted in two levels i.e., (a) Selection Round and (b) Final Round.
6.	All the participants in the selection round will be given participation e-certificates.
7.	First, Second and Third prizes will be awarded in final round for all the three languages.
8.	Winning participants will also be presented winner e-certificates.
9.	In case of any issue related to this competition, the decision of the NSD2024 committee will be final and binding.

b)	Selection Round
1.	The topic for the selection round will be : “Science & Technology for Sustainable Development” "सतत और दीर्घकालीन विकास के लिए विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी" "સતત અને લાંબાગાળાના વિકાસ માટે વિજ્ઞાન અને ટેકનોલોજી”
2.	The school will upload the PDF format of hand written essay on A4 paper (not typed or computer generated) in the Google form.
3.	All the essays recieved by us on or before 17:00 hrs 9-Jan-2024 only will be evaluated.
4.	The top SIX participants from each of the three languages will be intimated on 20-Jan-2024 through email. The same shall be available on NSD2024 website also.
c)	Final Round
1.	Top SIX participants shortlisted from each of the three languages for the Final Round will appear in person for the competition  at  IPR  on 10th Feb, 2024 (reporting time : 09:00).
2.	The topic for the final round shall be given 15 minutes befor the start of the final round to every participant.
3.	The participants will have 1 hour to complete their essay at IPR.
4.	Essay should not exceed two sides of A4 paper.
5.	Participants will be provided with a A4 paper.
