Social Outreach Activities


IPR has, in the past, undertaken social outreach programmes in the year 2013

Location : Bhat Village, Near Indira Bridge, Gandhinagar

Beneficiaries: Men and womenfolk of Bhat village and students of the village schools.  By imparing these skills to the villagers, they will be able to agument their income.

Wherever possible, expertise from IPR will be used for these programmes.


PC/ Data Entry
Basic training in operation of computer / Data Entry operation / Internet usage.


As part of DAE Jubilee Celebrations, IPR organized a social outreach programme at Bhat village, adjacent to IPR campus. The programme was inagurated by Director, Prof. Dhiraj Bora on 8th October, 2014. Through this outreach programme, various programmes pertaining to empowering the people of Bhat village were planned.  More than 90 women and 60 men from the village had signed up for this basic course on computers and data entry, which essentially teaches the villagers how to use a PC, prepare documents in Gujarati language and also how to do basic data entry on Excel.  The first batch  began on 13th October and was of 10 days duration.
